Meet Georgina

We were delighted to welcome Georgina to our team and now that she has been with us for a few months, we asked her to share her views about her role and about working with Essential Wealth Management. What attracted you to the position of Executive Assistant at EWM? The person specification immediately appealed to me and it gave me the opportunity to work in a sector I have always been interested in. The Newbury office is local to me and the firm has an excellent and long-established reputation. How have you found your first few months? It’s been great being part of a small, energetic team and I have really enjoyed the event planning and organising our 20-mile charity walk, alongside my day to day office work. Having not worked in this sector before, I am now going to review my own plans for the future as it is something I have put off doing but now realise the importance of making sure all your affairs are in order. What do you enjoy most? I enjoy the variety of my role; no two days are the same. I am organised and so managing my diary and workload is second nature to me and I enjoy the other challenges within my responsibilities. The team are great to work with and although I have the flexibility to work some days remotely, I enjoy coming to the office. It’s a bonus that my commute to work is through glorious countryside. What are your views on how clients are looked after? We offer an excellent and unique service to clients. The financial planners and client managers take time to get to know new clients and build long-lasting relationships. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The emphasis is on attention to detail and the whole team is meticulous.
